As part of The Office of the Inspector General (OIG’s) Provider Compliance Training initiative, the first of eleven (11) presentations were released in December 2011. The free videos and audio podcasts deal with health care fraud and abuse laws, the basics of health care compliance programs, and what steps to take when a compliance issue arises. The presentations are designed to assist providers in their compliance efforts. The OIG will post these presentations on their website with the ultimate goal being to promote a culture of prevention, detection, and resolution of compliance problems.
